FOOD

SHOULD

BE FOOD.

OUR

INGREDIENTS

ARE SO BORING

WE PRINTED

THEM ON THE

FRONT.

NO SUGAR. NO SEED OILS. NO WEIRD STUFF.

EGGS. Obviously.
OLIVE OIL. Not the cheap stuff.
VINEGAR. Keeps it sharp. Keeps it around.
MUSTARD. For backbone.
SALT. Calm down, it’s salt.

A SMALL COMPLAINT

FOOD SHOULDN’T NEED A PRONUNCIATION GUIDE.

We’re tired of ingredient lists that read like legal documents, “natural flavours” doing suspiciously unnatural things, and food designed by committee. Mayo really isn’t that complicated.

WHY WE DO IT THIS WAY →
“If you can’t pronounce it, don’t eat it. Unless it’s quinoa. That’s just pretentious.”

A quick compatibility check.

Suitable for.

YES
  • 01 People who like mayonnaise. We’re off to a good start.
  • 02 Chips with standards.
  • 03 Sandwiches requiring assistance.
  • 04 Leftovers deserving another chance.
  • 05 Picnics, weather permitting.
  • 06 People who think a food label shouldn’t require detective work.

Not suitable for.

NO
  • 01 Vegans.
  • 02 Anyone allergic to eggs or mustard.
  • 03 People who insist they’re “not really big fans of mayo.”
  • 04 Cereal. Even we have limits.
  • 05 Rewiring a plug.
  • 06 Making a terrible haircut look intentional.
  • 07 Tea. Don’t even think about it.
Good mayo. Limited additional powers.

Questions people might actually ask

Questions in. Corporate lies out.

Sensible questions. Straight answers. Nobody needs an essay about mayonnaise.

01 Is it healthy?

It’s mayonnaise, not a vegetable. We use proper ingredients and leave the wellness sermon to somebody else.

02 What’s actually in it?

Eggs, olive oil, vinegar, mustard and salt. That was the long version.

03 No sugar?

Correct. Mayonnaise didn’t ask to become pudding.

04 No seed oils?

Correct again. We use olive oil.

05 Why print everything on the front?

Because finding out what’s in your food shouldn’t require detective work.

06 Will it change my life?

No. It should improve your chips, though. We’re comfortable with that.
